East of the settlement is the Lumbarda field, Covered with red and yellow sand soil, extremely suitable for vineyards (famous wine grk). People work in agriculture, fishing, and stone-cutting. Lumbarda is six kilometers away from KorĨula and connected by the road with all other settlement on the island.
