In the Dubrovnik River, a bay 2,7 km long, in Komolac, where all types of yachts can sail, the Dubrovnik Marina is situated. The Dubrovnik River stream heads for the bay mouth at the speed of one knot. During the season and in the wintertime, all types and sizes of yachts dock at the marina. Water, electricity and telephone lines are available with the docking space.
The Dubrovnik River is opened to northern air streams. It is very pleasant to spend nights here during the summer, because it is quite fresher than in the city. This was well known by the old inhabitants of Dubrovnik, hence the numerous summerhouses along the riverbanks. On the Marina grounds there is enough space for storage of yachts and boats in the open on automobile trailers. Shipbuilding, mechanical and electrical services ate available. Dubrovnik Marina owns boats and speedboats available for rental by the guests. There is also a spacious summerhouse of the Sorkocevic family.
